In Their Own Words:

"My training has been in understanding people (Psychology), Process (Six Sigma and Lean), and Data/Outcomes (Statistics). I've found that many people have an aversion to data, particularly to performance data. They find it evaluative, confusing, and oftentimes used inappropriately. I often find clients drowning in a sea of data with only tiny islands of actionable information in sight. They are overwhelmed by data demands, duped into thinking that outcomes are difficult to understand, and paralyzed by a fictional press to act on every move of the numbers. With ever increasing demands for more measures, greater transparency, and higher rigor with respect to analysis and presentation of data, "Management by Fact" (a Baldrige Core Value) is often anxiety provoking. My mission is to decrease the fear of performance outcomes; changing the perception of being a victim of data, to harnessing its power to drive improvement. I help clients listen to the requirements of many stakeholders, manage expectations more efficiently, and use quality tools to prioritize and act on data more thoughtfully. I find great satisfaction in experiencing client empowerment—helping clients make meaningful improvement while acting on less data, but more information and knowledge, and capitalizing on true strategic targets. My work is the perfect marriage of the art and science of performance improvement."
